High street shop Vastned wins FGH property award 2014

VASTNED CONGRATULATES MOVEMENT REAL ESTATE ON WINNING THIS PRESTIGIOUS PROPERTY AWARD

Each year the FGH Property Award is awarded to one of the most outstanding property projects in the Netherlands by an independent panel of experts. The city centre project De Markies in The Hague, developed by Movement Real Estate B.V., was praised by the judges for the speed at which it was transformed from a problematic city centre location and an unsightly shopping complex into an eye-catching property and the anchor of the main shopping area in The Hague.

Taco de Groot, Vastned CEO
We would like to congratulate Movement Real Estate B.V. and the other parties involved in the development of De Markies on winning this prestigious award. We are the proud owner of the beautiful high street shop let to H&M in the heart of The Hague, which is part of De Markies. Over the past few years, the city centre of The Hague has become more and more attractive to shoppers. The increasing number of international retailers that have or are planning to open a shop here confirms this. Developments such as De Markies definitely contribute to that.
